We are going to hold a science exhibition next semester most probably on week 1 or week 2 for 3 days.
The objectives are:
1) To widen the social circle of Life Science students
2) To introduce common science knowledge to MMU communities
Please leave your names and give any idea for the exhibition,
you guys are so creative as I saw your past models and perfomance!
Let's hold this activity together!
I would like to see more seniors, juniors, and friends from other faculties to involve!
SAPS point will be rewarded to whom involve in this activity.
Currently I've received suggestion:
1) Han Bin - Blood test and Microscope (viewing bacteria).
2) Yan Ling - Small gift given to those who win in games/contests.
Game: Tell the name of the observed bacteria through microscope.
Gift: Small notebook/pen. (or others Game and Gift you may suggest!)
3) Elaine - Provide a full body check up through blood test analysis cost RM40 each
4) Kevin - Theme Exhibition, Video Clips, Interesting Pictures & Banners (Comic Style), Puzzle or Scrabble or Flash game, Promotion
5) Ms. Tiang - Observe motile bacteria
6) Ms. Ong - Culture bacteria from thumb print

and dear all please consider the following point:
if exhibition held on week 1, we may have less competition for the CLC booking slot, and more easier to schedule the timetable for taking care of the booth.
if exhibition held on week 2, we may have more successfull event held coz more preparation time.
Please choose either week 1 or week 2 ;)

u all ar, dun show the bacteria just because u want to show it.. put a theme to ur bacteria exhibition which is related to our daily life. eg: bacteria which make us diarrhoea..make a small write-up abt the bacteria etc. this will make the exhibition more interesting

For the blood test, i have a contact with a pathlab that provide a full body check up through blood test analysis which only cost RM40 which i had did it recently.
So,maybe u all can take in consideration if wan.. :)
if need to make the exhibition more interesting... theme of the exhibition need to decide. interest theme will make the exhibition more interesting and fun..first thing first video clip.. can give them c how the metabolism work or some other processes..... beside that interesting picture and banner..some pro people explain the comic type or cute type picture that related with our exhibition...fun and small games..
related with processes but dun so boring.. like puzzle or scrabble or some flash game that can make them interesting.... most important dun so boring=.="'.. promotion of the exhibition..need to spread and spread to all of the mmu student..some information that not too pro and rarely people know..
